Sister Songs / Brother Songs

So in thinking and then talking a bit about this with with Hannah, I have discovered that many Queen songs have "Sister Songs" or "Brother Songs"

Sister Songs: they go together, similar style, sound the same, and just remind each other of each other...and they flow together.
Brother Songs: similar idea r vibe, but not as much of a flow together if they were to be played side by side.
Make sense? idk lol ill just leave it..

Here is what I/we have so far...
-Play the Game & It's a Hard Life (sound identical)
-Get Down Make Love & Body Language
-Death on Two Legs & Flick of the Wrist (bros)
-Sail Away Sweet Sister & Spread Your Wings (sisters!)
-One Vision & A Kind of Magic (the underlying whispery sounds make me think of each of them whenever they come on, most of the time in live concerts when they start with one vision, and a kind of magic comes in later and i am like "didnt they already play this?")

-Tie Your Mother Down & Fat Bottomed Girls
-Dear Friends & All Dead, All Dead

-Millionaire Waltz & Seaside Rendezvous
-Misfire & 39'

Top section is the originals, middle is ones that are new but deffs work. Bottom i feel they fit but i want some feedback or suggestions. and final section...i am looking for sisters for these ones!

If you have any more ideas please reply with them! I would even love to make a master list of them haha. or if you think some dont fit feel free to say, altho i have final say because i am the creator of this idea :3 some i threw together and some are more strong than other so plzzz. send feedback haha thanks :)

also i think One Vision & The Invisible Man are bros because they sound really similar if you listen to the guitar parts of them....i just noticed this but they actually sound very similar at different parts!

but Liar also goes with Flick of the Wrist!
When its like "LIAR! ooooohhhh" that goes with "flick of the writs and your deaaad baby"
idk, only for a moment they worked, but death on two legs is a MUCH better match up with FLick of the wrist

this is an interesting topic!
for me it's Under Pressure + I Want To Break Free; I can imagine the bass riff from Under Pressure leading into the opening synth sounds of IWTBF. I guess it's the power of Deaky

I don't think there was too much planning on linking songs between different albums. I know that Freddie said they would focus on one album, but then Fred's way was to write, record, perform, dispose!

altho i said Millionaire Waltz goes with Seaside Rendezvous, i always used to associate MW with The Prophet's Song because they are both 'epics' but whatever ill keep them as they are
because.... i have found a match for Prophets song!

I think Don't stop me now and somebody to love almosst work together....they are very close in standing in popularity and in pure AWESOME EPICNESS ahaha lol.

I also think Long Away goes with Sweet Lady... idk i originally thought that, but now i think that because of the similarities in the drummings it goes better with You and I!

And as for Under Pressure, and IWTBF (god im getting so lazy and tired of typing out full song names lol), i agree with the version that is on the music video, BUT (haha that was a rather large but..) the one on the original LP of The Works, it is softer and more cheery and it has a guitar base so it is built on strums and flow and such, i dont think it works. SO, for this we shall say that Under Pressure works with I Want to Break Free-V (for video version) and the album one (IWTBF-A, for album version) still needs a partner! haha


and i agree with the way he wrote his songs, ya, I was pairing them because even tho they never used the same method once, a lot of the songs remind me of other ones...and you cant deny that Play the Game and Hard Life have that one part that sounds identical!! it is just a fact haha.

ohh and with Breakthru!! i know what you mean, is it that key change part that is where they would be in the tunnel in the video? I know where it is from..kinda haha.
Did you ever play Sonic Adventure Battle 2 for gamecube?? Well it sounds like one part of a theme music bit from that!! hahaha

you know...come to think of it Hannah, White man does kinda, really work with Prophets Song! they are quiiite similar! hahaha

i actually thing that the IWTBF-V and Under Pressure go with Radio Gaga, they are all mechanical/groovy...i guess
i mean the whole works album is brilliantly titled because it is mechanical like a factory, but those 3 go together.

Actually Roger said that A Kind Of Magic and One Vision were supposed to be one song but it got split into two songs for unknown reasons. I always thought We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions were one song when I was eight or something so to me I guess they're sister songs

And they (I forget who) said that WWRY/We are the champs is actually 2 separate songs, and they were written that way. The tradition of them being brothers only started when radio stations started playing them consecutively. They were designed alone but it became a thig to play them together.
So ya I would say, because of that, they is bros! Haha
